I’ve always been drawn to creativity, doing simple arts and crafts, sewing, or decorating. As I grew older, I most enjoyed rearranging my room and getting to decorate however I wanted. Interior Design wasn’t a path I initially thought I’d take, but as I explored it, I realized that I loved it.
Over the past two years while in school, I have learned how to see spaces and mold them into functional and artistic designs. This summer, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work as an intern with an Interior Designer here at the Lake! Over the past month, I have learned so much about staging condos and homes on the market, working on sourcing for remodels and new builds, as well as learning about materials and working with clientele. Interior Design is a true art form, providing the opportunity to design spaces for individuals.
I am truly so excited to flourish as a designer!
